Much like wanting bulk fishing lures to keep the costs of fishing down, bulk crankbaits are a great way to maintain a lower cost of fishing. Whether your favorite lure is the Rapala Shad Rap, or the Rapala DT Series crankbaits, buying in bulk allows for savings on a per fishing lure basis. Being able to buy these lures in large quantities allows us to defray the cost of losing such a lure.

All too often crankbaits are the victims of stray branches while casting or rocks while trolling. Sure that lure saver you bought might save the best fishing lure in your tackle box, but all too often the effort is for naught as the snag is too much for our fishing line or knot. Yes, unfortunately losing crankbaits is a sad byproduct of fishing with these types of fishing lures. I know I have personally lost about 20 Shad Raps the past few years due to snags at the bottom of my favorite trolling area. And this isn't even to mention when the line breaks due to one of those large toothy critters (northern pike) hitting the lure while you are fishing for walleye or bass. Even if you catch a few fish and don't retie the line can be compromised and lead to break offs if you are not careful. Yes, in an ideal world we wouldn't have a need for bulk crankbaits for sale, but unfortunately, that is not the world we live in.
