Anyone ever been saltwater fishing?
Tuesday, February 17th, 2009So I'll be the first to admit that I have been to the coast and not ventured out into the ocean in the attempt to catch some fish. What I am wondering here is whether any of the lures or techniques can be applied to the freshwater realm? There have to be some similarities I would think, but also some great differences. I'm thinking this could bring about an edge fishing inland that most people don't think about.
So have any of you ever used some saltwater fishing tackle? If so, can you give me any insight into whether you think there are any techniques that could be applied to the freshwater fishing world that most are not currently applying? I have to believe that there are some golden nuggets buried in the annals that would be great to use in a freshwater lake. I am always trying to fine tune my techniques so as to gain any possible advantage. Heaven knows with the advent of electronics these days and the way people use them, any non technical advantage to be gained would be very helpful.
