Albert,

I will have to do some research on kites and how to use them. Would definitely take freshwater fishing to places that it hasn't been before!

Howdy,

Found you via Outdoor Bloggers Summit. Great stuff here that my son and I will enjoy.

One thing that I have thought about is the use of kites to get a bait way out there on a lake. It wouldn't be a difficult thing to do. Just requires more equipment!

I'll have to give the idea a little more thought.

Regards,
Albert

Pat,

That is a good idea about Gulp. Thanks for the insight into salt water fishing in the ocean. I guess a lot of lures that work in freshwater also work in salt water. Great to know.

I was saltwater fishing this weekend. We caught one snook on a rapala crankbait. Tried Senko's, tubes, slugo's and grubs. Small pinfish hit the tubes and grubs, but for the most part they were only interested in the tails. After about 2-3 bites they had removed the tails completely. I would bet that Gulp makes some baits that would work well in the ocean.
