One thing that I have thought about is the use of kites to get a bait way out there on a lake. It wouldn’t be a difficult thing to do. Just requires more equipment!

We caught one snook on a rapala crankbait. Tried Senko's, tubes, slugo's and grubs. Small pinfish hit the tubes and grubs, but for the most part they were only interested in the tails. After about 2-3 bites they had removed the tails completely. I would bet that Gulp makes some baits that would work well in the ocean. I was saltwater fishing this weekend.
