I’ve had a few questions and comments from some fly fishers seeking more information about the Short Casts tips (June-July, 2014) titled “Invisible Stripping Basket.”
Keeping control of your slack line is a challenge everywhere in rivers, the shoreline of freshwater lakes, and fishing the flats and beaches in saltwater. If you’re not fishing out of a boat where you can lay your coils at your feet, Joe’s tip can help prevent line tangles and get you longer casts with fewer tangles and snarls.
